Steam

Anyone had any experience of using Steam? I just tried to download EVE online from their website, and have paid my £15, but the game simply will not load. I get an EVE picture which persists for about 10 seconds, then nothing. Perhaps I've not linked my account properly?

Dunno

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

    When I played Eve, I just downloaded the client (I thought it was free), and paid CCP directly. Haven't used Steam, sorry.

    Here's my guide to Eve, somewhat out-of-date in areas since I don't play anymore, but probably useful still.

    Your excellent guide was what inspired me to try the game out. I've already been through it in detail!

    Now if only I can get the game to work...
